Student from the School of Industrial Design & Ceramic Art Won the Macao Design Award 2021

The Macao Design Award 2021 announced the winning works of ten categories, including product design. Qin Xiayan, graduate of industrial design 2021 from School of Industrial Design and Ceramic Art, Foshan University (FOSU), won the nomination award in the product design category (student group) for his design work “CHOOKA”.

The Macao Design Award, held 13 times, enjoys her fame in the Macao design industry circle. Over 3,600 pieces of work from 22 countries and regions are referred in this year’s event. Divided into the open and the student group respectively, the winning rate is of 3%, as only 1 gold and 5 nomination awards were eventually chosen for and the Gold Award for product design was vacant. Participating in the competition on behalf of FOSU for the first time, Qin Xiayan has done a brilliant job.
